Personal Roots & Public Service Foundations
Born in Argentina, Jonathan made Aliyah to Israel with his family out of Zionist conviction and grew up in Nahariya. His early path included service in the IDF Planning Directorate and the Prime Minister’s Office, followed by work at the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament) and the Yitzhak Rabin Center.
Government, Transportation & Infrastructure
Senior advisory roles to two Israeli Ministers of Transportation and Road Safety, followed by work with Israel Ports Company and its business development subsidiary.
Washington, D.C., Paraguay & Latin America
Service as Director of Israel Affairs at a Jewish-American think tank based in Washington, D.C., was followed by three years working with the President and Government of Paraguay. This chapter included engagement with international organizations such as UNDP, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group) and other regional development banks, as well as business development and political campaign work across Central and South America.

Jonathan’s board and corporate governance experience includes former service as Chairman of Evigilo Ltd. and as a Director of the Yitzhak Rabin Center, a statutory corporation established under Israeli law. He currently serves as a Board Member and Chair of the Board’s Human Resources Committee at the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo. His leadership experience also encompasses strategic negotiations, organizational leadership and international business development, alongside active reserve service as an officer in the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

Four years living and working in Washington, D.C., including service as Director of Israel Affairs at a Jewish-American think tank and engagement with policy, public affairs and international stakeholders.

Board member of the Tisch Family Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem and Chair of its Board Human Resources Committee. Jonathan is also a member of the Association for the Establishment of the Yitzhak Rabin Center and formerly served as a director of the Yitzhak Rabin Center, a statutory corporation established by law, following appointment by the Prime Minister.

Executive Master’s in Public Policy and Administration, Tel Aviv University, cum laude · BA in Government, Strategy and Diplomacy, Reichman University, cum laude · Certified mediator and arbitrator · Training in legal skills and the Adizes management methodology.
Military service
Jonathan began his service in the IDF Planning Directorate as Chief of Staff to the Head of the Planning Division in the General Staff. He later served as Chief of Staff to the Deputy National Security Advisers in the Prime Minister’s Office. He currently performs active reserve service in the IDF Spokesperson Unit with the rank of Captain.

Beyond the boardroom
Jonathan is happily married to Adi and a proud father of three. He practices yoga, loves cooking and enjoys bringing people together around a table. His schnitzel has become something of a legend among family and friends — and inspired the name “Schnitzelier”.
